Madeline May's Obituary
Madeline May Smith, 82, of Grand Junction died Monday, December 26, 2011 at her residence. She was born November 27, 1929 to Ike and Ethel (Halley) Murawchik in South Haven, Michigan. She enjoyed cooking, reading her cookbooks, shopping and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ike and Ethel Murawchik, her husband George P. Smith, and her sister Melva Cyrus.
She is survived by her children: Connie K. (Rick) Fennell of Grand Junction, Michigan; John (MaryAnn) Smith of Grand Junction, Michigan; and LuAnn Smith of Allegan, Michigan; her grandchildren: Mechele (Tom) Brower, John Farrell, Joe Guzman, Ashlee Smith and Devin Smith, great grandchildren – Cody Brower, Joshua Brower, John Farrell, Jolie Brower, Josilyn Peterson, Rachel Peterson and Makena-Area Guzman, and her sisters Ruth Meabon of Paw Paw, Michigan and Shirley Swan of England, Arkansas.
A memorial service will be held Friday, December 30, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at The First Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Koller officiating.
