Charisse Marleen's Obituary
Charisse Marleen Halstad, 57, of Grand Rapids, died Monday, December 26, 2011. She was born June 25, 1954 to Roderick and Mary Lou (Kleaveland) Halstad. Charisse graduated from South Haven High School in 1972. She received her Master’s Degree from Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky. Charisse worked at Ionia Intermediate School District as a Speech Therapist. She loved the outdoors, was a world traveler and was also an avid animal lover.
She is survived by her parents Roderick and Mary Lou Halstad of South Haven, Michigan.
A visitation will be held Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with services beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Robert Linstrom officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to Mel Trotter Ministries and Liz’s House in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
