Eleanor H.'s Obituary
Eleanor H. Claflin of South Haven passed away Friday, November 18, 2011 at Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born August 5, 1913 in South Haven, Michigan to Harry and Alma (Kuehne) Dawe.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband Kenneth W. Claflin in 1972 and her sons William H. Claflin in 2004 and James L. Claflin in March 2010.
She is survived by her daughter Nancy (Richard Sr.) Brinks of South Haven, Michigan, along with four grandchildren, five step grandchildren and numerous great grand children.
Visitation will be Monday, November 21, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, November 21 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Reverend John Fisher officiating. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery, South Haven. Memorials can be made to Open Door, mission to feed the needy, located at 429 Michigan Avenue, South Haven, Michigan 49090.
