Alice Casselman

Alice Faye Casselman, 77, of South Haven, Michigan passed away Friday, November 4, 2011 at Meadow Woods Nursing Home in Bloomingdale, Michigan. She was born July 7, 1934 in South Haven, MI to Carl and VeEtta Faye (Bard) Soristo. Alice worked as an Industrial Diamond Setter at Diamond Tool Company. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She married Walter Casselman on September 27, 1954.

She is preceded in death by her parents Carl and VeEtta “Faye” Soristo, and her husband Walter Casselman who died February 28, 1996, one sister Donna Burrows, and one brother Bill Soristo.

She is survived by her one son – Dan (Janet) Casselman of South Haven, Michigan, three daughters – Denise (Skip) Visuri of South Haven, Michigan, Penny (Loni) Abbott of South Haven, Michigan, Donna (Rob) Roberts of Severville, Tennessee, four grandchildren – Kristyn Casselman, Brandi Abbott, Brittany Roberts and Savanna Roberts, two great grandchildren, three sisters – Carolyn (Len) Brinks of South Haven, Michigan, Wava (Leslie) Willett of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Pat Kuch of Auburn, Michigan, one brother– Carl Soristo Jr. of South Haven, Michigan.
