Shirley Donnelly

Shirley K. Donnelly, 88 at rest October 16, 2011 formerly of Chicago, Illinois. Loving daughter of the late Lillian Donnelly and the late siblings Marie Ryan and James Donnelly she chose to do it her way and moved her own safe haven for anyone who needed a chance. She was a loyal employee of South Haven Rubber Company becoming their Union Stewart then President. Family, friends and her neighbors were her life. She is the last of a great generation. Survived by 23 nieces and nephews, 27 great nieces and nephews and 24 great great nieces and nephews. She was the beloved “Aunt” Shirley to hundreds and second “Mom” to many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 23, 2011, from 2 – 6 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, October 24, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Basil Catholic Church with Rev. Father Robert Flickinger officiating. Burial will take place at North Shore Memory Gardens in Hagar Shores, Michigan. Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of your choice.
