Helen's Obituary
Helen A. Tremlett, 90, died Thursday, October 6, 2011 at her home. Helen was born in Chicago and came to Brevard County in 1970 after traveling with her husband during his service to the U.S. Coast Guard. She was a member of the Coast Guard Wives Club of Governor’s Island, NY, the Merritt Island Fire Department Auxiliary, the Cocoa/ Rockledge Garden Club Founder Circle, the Cocoa Beach Power Squadron Auxiliary, the Knights of Columbus Council #6125 Auxiliary, she was a past vice president of the Wuesthoff Hospital Auxiliary, a member Divine Mercy Catholic Church Auxiliary, and a member of the Michigan Maritime Museum of South Haven Michigan.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband Albert H. Tremlett, her parents Earl Fouts and Anna Schiever, her brothers James, Robert and Kenneth Fouts, and her sister Hazel Dowdy.
Helen is survived by her daughter Patricia Barnette, her grandchildren Tracy, Del, and Dannielle, her niece Kathleen Conway, her great nephew Kenneth Conway, her sister-in-law Raymond Fouts, and many much-loved cousins and special friends: Blanche, Janet, Pat and Margaret.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 11, 2011 from 6 – 8 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Father Robert Flickinger officiating. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in South Haven, Michigan.
