Helen's Obituary
Helen Janda, 96, of South Haven died Thursday, September 29 at South Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.
She was born April 5, 1915 in Chicago, Illinois to Mary (Daprek) and Jerry Jedlicka. She married Anton Janda on November 17, 1934 in South Haven, Michigan. Helen worked as a sales clerk at Murphy’s in South Haven. Helen was a member of St. Basil Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – Anton Janda and one brother and two sisters.
She is survived by her son – Jerry (Phyllis) Janda of Grand Junction, Michigan. Three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Graveside services will take place on Monday, October 3 at 11:00 A.M. at Lakeview Cemetery with Rev. Father Robert Flickinger officiating.
