Winifred Jean's Obituary
Winifred Jean Gross, 64, of South Haven died Saturday, September 24 at home.
She was born December 15, 1946 in Pensacola, Florida to Wilbert and Francis (Karbowski) Heiser. Winifred worked as a cook for some area restaurants. Winifred loved to crochet, read, play Bingo and go to the Casinos. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by three brothers – Willie A. and Gene H. and Don Heiser.
She is survived by her children – Jimmy Heiser of South Haven, Michigan, John (Caroline) Gross of Disputanta, Virginia, Wayne (Jill) Gross and Terry (Tammy) Gross both of Martin, Tennessee, and Sheila Gross of New Lenox, Illinois. 14 grandchildren. Four brothers – Fred Heiser of Chicago, Illinois, Richard (Pat) Heiser of Largo, Florida, Wayne Heiser of Chicago, Illinois, Glenn (Elfriede) Heiser of South Haven, Michigan. One sister – LaVerne Heiser of Chicago, Illinois also survives.
