Elinor Marie's Obituary
Elinor Marie Sink, 95, of South Haven died Thursday, September 22 at Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.
She was born April 5, 1916 in Ilion, New York to William and Maude (Barrett) Bowie. Elinor married Robert K, Sink on April 18, 1942 in South Haven. She worked at South Haven Laundry, as a nurses aid at South Haven Community Hospital and for Everett Piano Factory. Elinor was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of South Haven.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – Robert K. Sink in 2000. Two daughters – Elaine Bowmann and Charmaine Whaley. Two brothers – Paul and Charles Bowie. Grandchildren – Patricia Ingram and Warren Michael Lant and great grandchild – Christopher Bowman also precedes her.
She is survived by her Three sons – Robert (Rayline) Sink Jr. of South Haven, Michigan, Richard (Reba) Sink of Billingsley, Alabama, and David (Tina) Sink of Delton, Michigan. One daughter – Robette Whaley of Sacramento, California. 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, September 26 from 10 – 12 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in South Haven. Funeral services will begin Monday at 12:00 P.M. at the church with Pastor Immanuel Roth officiating. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery.
