Marvin's Obituary
Marvin Ross McIntosh, 58, of South Haven died Monday, September 12 at home.
He was born July 5, 1953 in South Haven, Michigan to Jack and Evelyn (Ailes) McIntosh. Marvin married Gayle Simmons on November 8, 1980 at the First Assembly of God in South Haven. Marvin worked as a carpenter for 20 years. He worked as a Maintenance Technician at Lakeland Hospital in Berrien Center for 6 years. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by his brother – James McIntosh who died in 2000.
He is survived by his wife – Gayle McIntosh of South Haven, Michigan. One daughter – Renee (Chet) Goff and one son – Billy (Lorretta Mashburn) McIntosh both of South Haven, Michigan. Two grandchildren – Courtney and Dylan Goff. One brother – Mike (Debbie) McIntosh of Elm, Missouri and one sister – Gail (Robert) Curtis of Waterford, Michigan.
Visitation will be from 5 – 6 on Thursday, September 15 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Memorial services will begin Thursday at 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Clint Rogas officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the family or South Haven’s Hospice at Home.
