Tammy Reinhardt

Tammy Reinhardt, 65, of South Haven died Saturday, August 20 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.

She was born June 6, 1946 in Hartford City, Indiana to Charles and Inez (Green) McNees. Tammy graduated from Bloomingdale High School in 1964. Tammy married Allen (Rick) Reinhardt on May 9, 1964. She worked as a waitress at several different restaurants in South Haven. Tammy was a bus driver and worked in food service for South Haven Public Schools for many years retiring in 2009. Tammy loved to read and talk. She also enjoyed going to McDonalds for breakfast, playing Bingo and attending her grandchildren’s events.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband – Rick Reinhardt of South Haven, Michigan. Three children – Kelly (Kevin) Cochrane of Sacramento, California, Aeria (Jacob) Grimes of Grand Junction, Michigan and Riki (Elmer Jr.) Lawson of South Haven, Michigan. Seven grandchildren – Aericka Westerfield, Karleigh Cochrane, Avery and Kadyn Hoyt, Alex, Reegan and Mayson Lawson. Two great grandchildren – Ayerlynn and Brittlynn Westerfield . Two sisters – Lenny (David) Pentecost of South Haven, Michigan and Kenny (Bruce) Knuth of Blytheville, Arkansas.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 25, from 5 – 6 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. A memorial service will begin at 6:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Linstrom officiating. A dinner will follow the services at the South Haven Moose Lodge. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to her family.
