Imogene's Obituary
Imogene Hogle, 78, of South Haven died Wednesday, August 10 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
She was born May 28, 1933 in Richardville, Oklahoma to Jannie (Newell) and Roy Morrison. Imogene married Roger Hogle on July 22, 1955 at the Full Gospel Assembly Church Hartford, Michigan. She worked at the South Haven Laundromat and as a waitress. She was mostly known as a babysitter for many years in the South Haven community. Imogene had a big heart for children and was willing to help anyone in need. Imogene was a member of the Full Gospel Assembly of Hartford.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – Roger Hogle who died in 1984. Daughter – MaLinda Sue Martin in 2003. One sister – Betty Phaneuf.
She is survived by her son – Gary Hogle of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Three grandchildren – Stephen, Sara and Kaitlyn. Four brothers – J.W. (Betty) Morrison of Cardwell, Missouri, James (Janet) Morrison of Ashgrove, Missouri, Kyle (Trish) Morrison of Lawrence, Michigan and Kenneth (Rose) Morrison of South Haven, Michigan. One sister – Audrey (Richard) Mathias of St. Johns, Michigan also survives.
Visitation will be Monday, August 15 from11 - 1 at the Filbrandt family Funeral Home.
Funeral services will begin Monday at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
