Barbara's Obituary
Barbara May (Schnake) Dumdie, 67, of Englewood, Florida and South Haven, Michigan, departed this life on Monday, August 8 at her daughter and son-in-laws home with her companion and family by her side.
She was born May 1, 1944 in South Haven, Michigan to James and Rosemarie (Swetay) Schnake. Barbara moved to Englewood, Florida in the 70’s and became a Broker/Realtor of Barbara M. Dumdie Associate Inc. retiring in 2010. She spent her summers in South Haven.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She leaves to mourn her a Daughter – Debra (Frans) Haumersen of Glenn, Michigan and her beloved companion of 22 years – Ted Hildebrandt of Englewood, Florida. Brothers – Jim (Alada) Schnake of South Haven, Michigan and Ronald (Susan) Schnake of Grand Junction, Michigan. Several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews who knew her as my aunt Bobby also survive. Barbara worshiped all of them.
