Jose's Obituary
Jose Guadalupe Ruiz, 63, of South haven died Friday, August 5 at home.
He was born August 21, 1947 in Villa Mainero, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Fernando and Paula (Luna) Ruiz. Jose worked as a truck driver in the food industry. Jose liked to go fishing, cook outside on the grill, and going out to his familiar places. He was on a start of change and was a good neighbor for those who new him. He will always be loved and missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his son, daughter – Rolando Ruiz in 2011, Rosalinda Ruiz in 1972 - and sister – Consuelo Torres.
He is survived by his four children – Rebecca Ruiz of South Haven, Michigan, Rodolfo (Kim) Ruiz of Covert, Michigan, Roel (Michelle) Ruiz of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Raymundo Ruiz of South Haven, Michigan. Ten grandchildren and two great grandchild. One brother – Daniel (Teresa) Ruiz of Weslaco, Texas also survives.
A memorial services will be Thursday, August 11 at 11:00 A.M. at The Filbrandt Family Funeral Home with Deacon David Johnson officiating. Burial will take place at Weslaco City Cemetery.
