Willie's Obituary
Willie Jordan Jr., of South Haven died Wednesday, June 15 at the Holland Hospice House.
He was born December 13, 1934 in Grovetown, Georgia to Willie and Mattie (Terry) Jordan Sr. Willie worked for Bohn Aluminum for 40+ years. He loved animals especially dogs and cats. Willie also enjoyed Lake Michigan, auto racing, and the outdoors. Willie lived life to the fullest. He leaves precious memories in the heart of his daughters.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by his brothers – John and Alvin Jordan.
He is survived by his two daughters – Aquanetta Sanders of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Valarie Mae Bryant-Hill of Holland, Michigan. Grandchildren and great grandchildren. Five brothers – Whurria Jordan of Santa Ana, California, Ernest (Vera) Jordan of South Haven, Michigan, Jimmy (Sara) Jordan and Raymond (Faye) Jordan both of Los Angeles, California, and Fletcher Jordan of Palm Springs, California. One sister – Mary Phifer of Pittsburg, Texas. And a special uncle – Leonard Jordan. A multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survives.
Wake will be Friday, June 24 from 1 – 2 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Dureya Gibson officiating.
