Mary Ellen House, 79, of Covert passed away on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 8, 2011. Mary was born September 10, 1931 in Dublin, Mississippi to Johnny and Lula Mae (London) Bryant.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Hershey House and her parents.
She is survived by one brother – William Bryant, of Detroit, MI., Four sisters – Catherine Ervin of Chicago, Il. LuRethia Harris of Newport News, VA., Bernice Bryant of Chicago, Il. and Minnie Johnson of Chicago, Il.
A visitation will be held Friday, May 13, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Wake will be Saturday, May 14 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Covert, Mi. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Adrian Massenburg officiating.
