Rose Hilda's Obituary
Rose H. Jedlicka, 95, of South Haven passed away on Sunday, April 17 at home in Hospice Care surrounded by her family following a brief illness.
She was born April 20, 1915 in West Olive, Michigan to James and Mary (Zaic) Prelesnik. Rose married George E. Jedlicka and resided in South Haven the remainder of her life. Rose worked at SE Overton, South Haven School District and South Haven Rubber Company. She was a dedicated employee and gained respect and love from all who knew her. Rose was a member of St. Basil Catholic Church all her life.. She loved the outdoors, long rides in the car and giving help to all who needed it.
She is preceded in death along with her parents and husband by 17 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughters – Bonnie Goodwin of South Haven, Michigan, Sandy (Tom) VanErkel of Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Caroll Longtine of Pensacola, Florida. Four grandchildren – John (Cassee) Bell, Charles Bell, both of South Haven, MI and Jeff Longtine and Chad Lontine both of Pensacola, Florida. Rose will be missed by all who knew her.
