Lucille's Obituary
Lucille Morris, 86, of Grand Junction died Wednesday, March 23 at Holland Hospital.
She was born March 10, 1925 in Savannah, Tennessee to W.A. and Lettie (Smith) Baugus. Lucille married Delmer Morris in Blytheville, Arkansas in 1942. Lucille worked for many years as a farmer. Lucille loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – Delmer who died in 2010. Her daughter – Barbara Sue Morris in 1956. Six brothers, one sister and granddaughter – Lisa Gail Morris also precedes her.
She is survived by her daughter – Dorothy Jean (Frankie) Benavidez of Laporte, Indiana. Four sons – Delbert (Betty) Morris of Coloma, Michigan, Donald Glen (Diana) Morris of Riverside, Michigan, Stanley (Joann) Morris of Wayland, Michigan and Roger (Tina) Morris of Grand Junction, Michigan. 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. One brothers – L.V. Baugus of Pullman, Michigan and one sister – Bertha Whitehead of Blytheville, Arkansas also survived.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 P.M. on Friday, March 25 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home and from 1 -2 on Saturday. Funeral services will begin 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev.
