Margaret's Obituary
Margaret Jackson Carroll was born February 18, 1934 in Helena, Arkansas to Walter &Emma Jackson- Davis. In 1942 her mother brought her to Chicago, Illinois; where she had her formal education.
Margaret accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at St. Clair M.B. Church in Elaine, Arkansas. In 1977 she moved to Covert, Michigan where she met and married John Carroll. Margaret united with the Gospel Tabernacle Church and continued there until having to go into South Haven Nursing home. Margaret was proceeding in death by her father; Walter Jackson, her mother; Emma Davis, and husband; John Carroll. Margaret leaves to mourn her passing one sister; Genola Glasper, a daughter; Tammy Tolbert, three grandchildren; Sheila Mister, Racquel Jackson, Lauren Jackson, four great grandchildren, one niece; Dr. Hazel D. Glasper (Laurel, MD), three nephews; Dr. Rufus Glasper (Chandler, AZ), Anthony Glasper (Houston, TX), Andre Glasper (Stone Mountain, GA) and a host of grand nieces, nephews and friends.
Wake will be Saturday, March 19 from 10 – 11 at the Gospel Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at the church with Pastor Henry Allen Officiating.
