Doc's Obituary
Doc J. Anderson, 78, of Covert, Michigan died Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Bronson Methodist Hospital.
He was born November 10, 1932 in Tishomingo, Mississippi to Richard and Pearl (Southern) Anderson. He was served 16 years in the Army having served in Vietnam. Since 1973 he owned and operated Anderson Blueberry Farms in Covert. He was active in the Covert Community for many years.
He as preceded in death by his parents, his wife Rose who died in 1993, five brothers and 2 sisters.
Doc is survived by his son Richard W. (Monique) Anderson of Holland, Mi.; two daughters – Janina Page of Holland, MI. and Susan Rose of Covert, MI.; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Wake will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at the Lilly of the Valley Church in Covert. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Beverly Smith officiating. Burial will take place at Fish Cemetery.
