Mary Ruth's Obituary
Mary Ruth Decker, 76, of South Haven died Saturday, December 4 at Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.
She was born April 29, 1934 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Clarence and Beaulah (Brown) Gass. Mary married Donald Decker on May 18, 1956 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Mary enjoyed babysitting for many families in the South Haven area.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – Donald Decker who died in 2007. Also, grandson Robert Withey.
She is survived by 2 daughters – Delores (Leonard) Withey of South Haven and Donna Decker Grey of England. Three grandchildren – Tiffany Gerbers, Celeste Olson and Jessica Decker. Nine great grandchildren. Three brothers and one sister in Tennessee also survive.
