Tommie Lee's Obituary
Tommie Lee Jackson, 64, of Covert went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, October 27 from his home.
He was born October 28, 1945 in Tiptonville, Tennessee the son of Roy and Minnie Lee (Cole) Jackson. Tommie worked for National Motors in South Haven for many years. Tommie loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by his sister – Rosie Lee Hayes, brother – Raymond Jackson and his niece Linda Lee Hayes and nephew- Michael Wayne Jackson.
He is survived by his children – Tommie Jackson of Lansing, Tommie Jackson of Covert, Selena Jackson Sward of Covert, Sam Jackson of Bangor, Tonjia Jackson Humboldt of Tennessee. His siblings – Glenda (Allen) Hawkins of Kalamazoo, Elder James Jackson of Kalamazoo, Shirline (Richard) Turman of Kalamazoo, Hubert Lee Jackson of Kalamazoo, Glady’s (Perry) Brody of Covert, Willie C (Ernestine) Hayes of Covert. Jimmie Lee Jackson of Covert, Eddie Earl Jackson of Covert, Terry D. Jackson and Roy Jr. (Pam) Jackson of South Haven, Michael Jackson of South Haven. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Wake will be from 12 – 1 on Tuesday, November 2 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Minister Allen Hawkins officiating.
