James W.'s Obituary
James W. Curry, 68, of South Haven died Wednesday, September 1 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
He was born February 23, 1942 in New Albany, Indiana to Dallas and Mable (Burton) Curry. He married Dawn Smith on July 14, 1998 in South Haven, Michigan. James worked in sales and auto mechanics. He was a member of the Bangor Cruise Club where he cruised every Tuesday night with Harold and Trena Walworth and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father – Dallas Curry.
He is survived by his wife – Dawn Curry of South Haven, Michigan. Two sons – James (Elizabeth) Newby of Janesville, Wisconsin and James (Lisa) Curry of Greenville, Indiana. Two daughters – Janet Newby of Pearland, Texas and Heidi (Tom) Savory of Orleans, Indiana. His mother – Mable Curry of Clinton, Wisconsin. Ten grandchildren, one great granddaughter. Two brothers – Dallas J. Curry of Alsip, Illinois and Ralph (Mary Ann) Curry of Janesville, Wisconsin and one sister – Carol Visvardis of Henderson, Nevada also survives.
