Robert Henry's Obituary
Robert Henry Crosby Sr., 82, of South Haven died Tuesday, August 24 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
He was born October 11, 1927 in Gas City, Indiana to Emmett and Pearl Crosby. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. Robert worked for the Michigan Fruit Canners retiring in 1995 after 20 years of service. He enjoyed traveling, driving his car and bowling.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by his wife – Clara O. Crosby who died in 2007. Brother – Emmett Crosby also precedes him.
He is survived by three sons – Robert “Bobbie” Crosby Jr. of South Haven, Michigan, Billy Crosby of Three Oaks, Michigan and Dale Crosby of South Haven, Michigan. One daughter – Brenda (Robert) Crosby of Zeeland, Michigan. Four grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.
Visitation will be from 6-8 on Friday, August 27 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Jarvis officiating.
