Mary Love's Obituary
Mary Love Moore, 86, of South Haven died Tuesday, May 25 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
She was born June 15, 1923 in Tunica Mississippi to Elias and Ohio (Westley) Love. Mary married Nimrod “Moe” Moore on April 17, 1948 in Allegan, Michigan. Mary worked as a house cleaner for many families. Mary loved to go fishing and enjoyed gardening and cooking.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – Nimrod Moore who died in 2002. 9 brothers and sisters also precede her.
She is survived by her daughter – Cora Thomas (John Smith) of South Haven, Michigan and niece - Earlene Thomas of Chicago, Illinois. One nephew – Dimtruis Thomas of Chicago, Illinois. Two grand children – Ashellee Thomas and Lucius Smith. Two great grand nieces – Jasmine Thomas and Jayla Thomas. Special friends – Brenda Foster, Pauline Flournoy, Cora Kelley, Rubig Smith and family, Jessie Ross, The Evans family and Al Trogdon.
A memorial service will take place on Friday, June 4 at 3:00 P.M. at Filbrandt Family Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Perry officiating. Kindly share your thoughts and memories on the family’s online guest book at www.FilbrandtFFH.com.
