Ada Weber

Ada E. Weber, 75, of South Haven, went to be with her Lord, and her lifelong sweetheart on May 24, 2010.

She was born December 20, 1934 in Covert, Michigan to Walter and Ada May Porsche. Ada was raised by her grandmother, Estella Watkins, in the Bangor area. She married Ernest W. Weber November 20, 1954 at the First Baptist Church in South Haven. Ada worked as a sprayer for the Overton Frame Company for several years. Ada was a member of the Kibbie Christian Reformed Church where she was the church secretary for several years. Ada enjoyed flower gardening, quilting and oil painting.

She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband - Ernest Weber who died August 13, 2009. Grandchild - James Worline. Brothers - Bob, Don, Jim and Walt Porsche.

She is survived by son - Larry Weber of South Haven, Michigan. Two daughters - Susan (Tim) Worline of Gobles, Michigan and Lori Weber of South Haven, Michigan. Four grandchildren - Amy and Dylan Weber, Lanita (Dallas) Hankinson and Timothy R. Worline. Six great grandchildren. Sister-in-law - Evelyn French. Special sister-in-law - Beverly Jean Schlaak. Two nephews - Bruce and Bobby. Three Nieces - Margie, Ellen and Maryanne. Several other nieces and nephews also survives.

Visitation will be from 6 – 8 on Thursday, May 27 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. at the Kibbie Christian Reformed Church with Rev. Gerrit Haagsma and Rev. Ron Hassell officiating. Burial will take place at Chambers Cemetery in Geneva Township. Memorial contributions can be made to Kibbie Christian Reformed Church or to the South Haven Hospice at Home at 05055 Blue Star Hwy. South Haven, Michigan 49090.
