William Edward's Obituary
William Edward Sprague, 76, of South Haven died Saturday, May 22 at home.
He was born October 30, 1933 in Decatur, Michigan to Frank and Pearl (VanOrman) Sprague. William graduated from Benton Harbor High School. William married Patricia Smith, after she died he married Kathy Iocca. William was a truck driver and worked for Eagle Transport. He was a member of the VFW Post # 667 in South Haven and the Loyal Order of the Moose # 697 in South Haven. William loved to bowl and was a fan of the Detroit Tigers.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by his First wife – Patricia Bankert and second wife Kathy Sprague. Four siblings – Lyle, Bud, Millie and Liz also precedes him.
He is survived by one son – Leland Sprague of South Haven, Michigan. Two daughters – Sonda (Charles) Satkey of South Haven, Michigan and Marlene (Bob) Thompkins of LaPort, Indiana. Nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. One brother – Morris Sprague of Benton Harbor, Michigan also survives.
