Lucille's Obituary
Lucille Leone Alfieri, 78, of South Haven died Monday, April 26 at home.
She was born August 26, 1931 in South Haven, Michigan to Rex and Hazel (Goodrich) Empson. Lucille married Antonio Alfieri on January 1, 1950 in Saugatuck, Michigan. Lucille worked as a cashier for the Golden Brown Bakery for 5 years from 1970 – 1975. Lucille enjoyed wildlife especially horses and loved to read and the outdoors.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her infant son – Mario Alfieri and sister – Edna Bell Alfieri.
She is survived by her husband – Antonio Alfieri of South Haven, Michigan. Two sons – Antonio (Linda) Alfieri II of Gobles, Michigan and Rexano Alfieri of Bangor, Michigan. Two daughters – Videla Reed of Lakewood, Colorado and Dawn (James) Christman of Union Grove, Wisconsin. Sixteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Three sisters – Marion (Charles) Bergstrom, Beatrice Olson and Thelma (Jim) Leach all of South Haven, Michigan also survive.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the American Legion in South Haven on Saturday, May 22 from 4 – 8 P.M. Burial will take place at Grand Junction Cemetery. Kindly share your thoughts and memories on the family’s online guest book at www.FilbramdtFFH.com.
