Eileen Mary's Obituary
Eileen Mary (Brockway) McKane, 74, of South Haven passed away Sunday, March 28 at home.
She was born May 18, 1935 in Malone, New York to Raymond and Mildred (Robinson) Brockway. Eileen graduated from Moira High School in New York in 1954. She was active in cheerleading while in school. Until macular degeneration robbed Eileen of most of her eyesight over the last 25 years, she enjoyed golf, reading, needlepoint, sewing and travel.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her daughter – Mikki L. McKane, grandson – Connor McKane. Brother – Raymond Brockway and sister – Geraldine Brockway.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years – John “Jack” McKane of South Haven, Michigan. Two sons – Mike (Rochelle) McKane of Joliet, Illinois and Matt (Kecia) McKane of Milford, Michigan. Three grandchildren - Nathan W. (Sheena) McKane, Alex McKane and Cole McKane. Great grandson – Matt and great great granddaughter – Izzy. Brother – Wayne Brockway and several nieces and nephews also survive.
