Harold Paul's Obituary

Harold Paul Day, 48, of South Haven died Monday, December 21 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.

He was born November 28, 1961 in South Haven, Michigan to Harold E. and Marilyn Day. Harold served his country in the U.S. Army during the Iran-Contra Crisis in Army Special Forces. Harold was a disabled veteran. He married Razanne Sheets on March 1, 1984 in South Haven, Michigan. Harold enjoy fishing, rock collecting, antiques, auctions and gardening.

He is preceded in death by his father – Harold Edward Day who died in 1997 and by his son – Michael Paul Day who died in 2001.

He is survived by his wife – Razanne Day of South Haven, Michigan. Two sons – Matthew Day and Mark (Elizabeth) Day both of South Haven, Michigan. Two grandchildren – Luke Michael Day and Tara Marie Day. Mother – Marilyn Day of South Haven, Michigan. Two brothers – Mike Day and Richard Day both of South Haven, Michigan. Two brother-in-laws - Troy (Suzanne) Sheets of Greers Ferry, Arkansas and Mark Sheets of Clinton, Arkansas. One sister-in-law - Susan (James) Seys of Seattle, Washington. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 23 from 6 – 8 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Phillip A. Haner officiating. Burial will take place at McDowell Cemetery in Casco Township. Memorial contributions can be made to the Disable American Veterans.
