Royce Ann's Obituary
Royce Ann Besemer, 66, of South Haven died Tuesday, December 1 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
She was born February 10, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois to James and Betty (Boyes) Goheen. Royce graduated from South Haven High School in 1960. She married George Besemer on March 10, 1960 at St. Basil Catholic Church in South Haven. Royce loved her flower and vegetable gardens. She also loved to read, sometimes reading 4 or 5 books at a time.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband – George Besemer of South Haven, Michigan . One son – David ( Sandy ) Besemer of South Haven, Michigan . Two daughters – Marianne (Mark) Field of Hamilton , Michigan and Katherine Besemer of Paw Paw, Michigan . Five grandchildren – Christain (Sara) Field, Andrew Field, Steven Field, Kara Besemer and Halea Besemer. Three great grandchildren – Jasmine, Johnathan and Makayla Field. Ten siblings – Patrick Goheen of Chicago Illinois , James (Mary) Goheen of Winchester Missouri, Denise Fike of Winamac, Indiana, Peggy (Wade) McPeak of South Haven, Michigan, Danny (Maxine) Goheen of Winamac Indiana, Kevin (Becky) Goheen of Highland Indiana, Mark Goheen of Chicago Illinois, John (Karen) Goheen of Shelby Indiana, Deion Goheen of Phoenix Arizona and Mary Watts of Winamac Indiana.
