Caroline's Obituary

Caroline Josephine Halpin, 94, of Naples, Florida and South Haven,Michigan died Monday, November 9 at the Holland Hospice House.

She was born September 4, 1915 in Detroit, Michigan to Andrew and Josephine (Szymanski) Ducher. Caroline was one of 12 siblings. Caroline worked for over 20 years as the chairperson of The Scholarship Advisory Committee for the DeVoe Automotive Group in Naples, Florida following a career in banking. Caroline was a member of St. Basil Catholic Church of South Haven, Michigan and a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church of Naples, Florida. Caroline loved to golf. She was a member of the Collier County Women’s League and The Golden Gate Women’s Golf League.

She is preceded in death along with her parents by her son – Joseph C. Dubeck and her husbands, Joseph Dubeck Sr., and Malcolm Halpin.

She is survived by her two daughters – Genie (Dick) Insidioso of South Haven, Michigan and Carol Ann Curtis of Pahrump, Nevada. Five grandchildren – Rochelle (Perry) Palanca, Mike Insidioso, Julie Insidioso, Kathy (Randy) Stanton and Mark (Louise) Rozich. Seven great grandchildren – Gabrielle, Eric, Casey, Taylor, Joey, Amanda, and Kristen.

Memorial Mass services will be Friday, November 20 at 7:00 P.M. at St. Basil Catholic Church. Burial will take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Lapeer, Michigan. A Memorial Mass will also be held Saturday, December 5 at 8:00 A.M. at St. Elizabeth Seton Church of Naples, Florida.
