Peter Edwin's Obituary
Peter Edwin Jensen, 60, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, October 21.
He was born June 20, 1949 in South Haven, Michigan to Carl and Mildred (Larson) Jensen. Peter was the second of three children. He was one of the first students at the Arlington Center for the mentally handicapped near Bangor, and continued there until his early 20’s. Peter loved and collected TV Guides and 45 rpm records. Unless one threatened his TV Guides and Records, he was a loving, kind and thoughtful person.
He is preceded in death along with his mother, father and a brother-in-law.
Pete leaves behind his sisters, Carol A. Jensen and Christine A. Moret both of South Haven, Michigan. Nephew Jeffrey (Heather) Moret of Phoenix, Arizona, niece Julie (Dan) Renner of East Lansing, Michigan, and nephew Christopher Jensen of Chicago, IL., two great-nephews-Cullen and Joe, a great-niece Zoey. Many cousins and friends including the staff of Our Haus AFC in Bangor also survive.
A graveside committal service will be scheduled at a later date at the Memorial Garden at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church of South Haven with Rev. Robert Linstrom officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to South Haven Hospice at Home, Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, or the VanBuren County Association for Retarded Citizens.
