Grace's Obituary
Grace M. Davis, 93, of South Haven died Tuesday, September 8 at home.
She was born December 19, 1915 in South Haven, Michigan to Mahala (Biddle) and Harold Landry. Grace married Richard J. Davis on February 1, 1935 in South Haven. Grace loved to knit and crochet. She was known for her beautiful afghans. Grace was a member of the Scott Club.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband who died in 2006. 2 sons –Richard Duane Davis and Douglas Arthur Davis. 2 Brothers – Elmer Landry and Wayne Landry also precedes her.
She is survived by 2 sons – Larry (Charlotte) Davis and Phillip (Mary) Davis both of South Haven, Michigan. 6 grandchildren – Dawn (Terry) Dingwell, Amy Davis, Penny (Gregg) Moench, Kathy (Joe) Crawford, Michael Davis and James Davis. 5 great grandchildren – Emily Dingwell, Alaina Dingwell, Jacob Moench, Alexandria Moench and Abigail Moench. 2 brothers – Lawrence Landry, Harold Landry Jr. both of South Haven, Michigan.
Visitation will be from 12 - 1 on Friday, September 11 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin Friday at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Curry Pikkaart officiating. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Hemophilia Foundation 200 North Park St., Kalamazoo, Michigan 49007.
