Carolyn's Obituary
Carolyn Couturier Morris, 67, of South Haven, died August 4 at her home.
She was born October 19, 1941 to Leonard Wright and Ellen Louise (Cole) Dameron. She first married Jerry Couturier, and then Carl Morris. Carolyn worked for many years at Bezzle Restaurant as a waitress until they closed.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her first husband- Jerry Couturier in 1999; and one brother – Larry Dameron.
Carolyn is survived by her husband – Carl Morris of South Haven; four sons – Gerald (Ruth) Couturier of South Haven, Michigan; Tony (Deb) Couturier of South Haven; William Couturier of Washington State; and Paul Couturier of South Haven, Michigan; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Two sisters – Maryann Sechrest of Hot Point, North Carolina, and Peggy Benge of Winston Salem, North Carolina also survive.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 6 from 6-8:00 P.M. at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 7 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Harold F. Filbrandt officiating. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in South Haven, Michigan. Memorials can be made to South Haven Area Hospice.
