Walter's Obituary
Walter Albert Barwacz, 79, of Grand Junction, Michigan, died Thursday, July 9 at home.
He was born July 22, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois to John and Frances (Hajder) Barwacz. He married Margaret Herula. Walter was a blueberry farmer and owned and operated Barwacz Farm.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by one brother.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years – Margaret “Marge” Barwacz of Grand Junction, Michigan; one son – James Barwacz of Grand Junction, Michigan; and two daughters – Margaret (Michael) Hancock of Washington State, and Janet (Edward) Trudy of Knox, Indiana. Four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren also survive.
