Doris's Obituary
Doris Ethel Zech, 78, of South Haven died Sunday, June 21 at home.
She was born October 24, 1930 in Muskegon, Michigan to William and Celena (Whaley) Barrett. Doris worked as a medical and ex-ray technician. Doris also worked on cars as she learned a great deal regarding mechanics from her first husband. Doris enjoyed puzzles and reading. Her dog, Sandy, was her best friend. Doris was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her son – Donald Boyd Jr. and husband – Donald Boyd Sr. siblings – Vern Barrett, Pearl Barrett, Orson Barrett, Etta Cummins, Clara Smith, Cliff Barrett
She is survived by her son – Jim Wolf and daughter – Linda (Don) Evans. one grandson – Curtis Evans. Sisters - Ivory (Bud) Fielstra and Sarah Darlene Webster both of Muskegon, Michigan. Also surviving is her close friend, Ethel (Norm) Berwer of South Haven.
