Carl's Obituary
Carl Morten Pedersen, 57, of South Haven died Sunday, May 31, at home.
He was born December 14, 1951 in Denver, Colorado to Roland H. and Oleda V. (Gustafsen) Pedersen. Carl graduated from Spring Vale Academy High School in Owosso, Michigan. Carl then attended the Ministers Training Center in Colorado. Carl married Judy Huffman on February 2, 1975 in Decatur, Michigan. Carl was a Lay Pastor for the Church of God Seventh Day. Carl was known for his music ministry which he played the guitar, piano and sang.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by 2 brothers – Kenneth & Paul Arney Pedersen.
He is survived by his wife – Judy Pedersen of South Haven, Michigan. Three daughters – Michelle (Daniel) Watters of Saginaw, Michigan, Melissa Pedersen and Melinda Pedersen both of South Haven, Michigan. One grandson – Matthias Watters. Three brothers – Howard Pedersen of West Virginia, Gerry (Susan) Pedersen of Oregon and Roland (Kay) Pedersen of Toledo, Ohio.
Visitation will be Friday, June 5 from 6-8 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Saturday, at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral. Burial will take place at North Shore Memory Gardens in Hagar Shores. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
