Porfira's Obituary
Porfira Corona, 79, of Covert, Michigan died at home on April 30, 2009. Porfira was born on July 18, 1929 to Rafael and Dolores (Ibarra) Corona in Las Villas, Michoacan, Mexico. She enjoyed sewing, reading the bible and watching over her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband - Antonio Saucedo and 2 sons – Efrain Saucedo and Mario Saucedo.
Porfira is survived by her daughters – Alicia Saucedo of Covert, Michigan and Delia Alcauter of Chicago, Illinois. One brother – Eusebio Corona of Chicago, Illinois and one sister – Pilar Vargas of Chicago, Illinois. 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 5 from 5-8 pm at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, May 6 at 1:30 pm at St. Basil Catholic Church with the Rev.
