Charlotte Schultz's Obituary
Charlotte Schultz Gould, 83, of South Haven passed away Tuesday, April 7 at South Haven Community Hospital.
She was born May 12, 1925 in Kibbie, Michigan to Charles and Eleanor (Schatz) Schultz. As a young girl, Charlotte was an outdoors girl enjoying hunting, trapping and fishing. As an adult Charlotte liked to camp with her daughter and friends, hunting mushrooms, agates and Petoskey stones. Charlotte was always a hard worker and independent. Charlotte worked at Bohn Aluminum during World War II. She also worked at S.E. Overton, Ashen’s Steak House, The Party Basket and the Depot. After retiring, Charlotte enjoyed reading, crosswords, travel and her flower gardens.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – Allan Gould. Daughter – Linda Nelson. Two brothers – Bill and Bud Schultz and one sister – Lorraine Foley.
She is survived by one son – David (Beverly) Gould of Benton Harbor, Michigan and daughter – Suzan (Gary) Sarabyn of Coloma, Michigan. Sister – Lenore McNees and Son-in-law – Keith Nelson of South Haven, Michigan. Her extended family – the Koks, Laura, Charlotte and Kristina of Jenison, Michigan.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 on Sunday, April 12 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 A.M. at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Robert Linstrom officiating. Burial will take place at Stephenson Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made Multiple Myeloma Foundation.
