Randy Jim's Obituary
Randy Jim Harrington Sr.,54, of Hamilton, Ohio formerly of South Haven died Sunday, January 25 at Ft. Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, Ohio.
He was born May 27, 1954 in South Haven, Michigan to Jack A. and Bonnie (Weaver) Harrington. Randy graduated from South Haven High School in 1972. Randy married Veronica Jones on June 25, 1994 in Indiana. Randy worked as a salesman for Air-Tite Windows in Hamilton. Randy liked being around people and enjoyed his dogs. Randy enjoyed playing cards especially euchre and poker.
He is preceded in death by his father – Jack A. Harrington in 1960, brother - Jack Harrington Jr. in 2000 and grandson – Riley J. Harrington in 2006.
He is survived by his wife – Veronica “Roni” Harrington of Hamilton, Ohio. Two sons – Randy J. (Laura) Harrington Jr. and Garret L. (Carolyn) Harrington both of Louisville, Kentucky. One daughter – Deborah A. (Rick) Denslow of Reed City, Michigan. One step-daughter – Angela (Jeremy) Hann of Hamilton, Ohio.
Mother – Bonnie Harrington of South Haven, Michigan. Eight grandchildren – Alyshia M. Cuvillier, Jennifer N. Cuvillier, Brandy Bentley, Taylor Denslow, Kirsty J. Harrington, Skye A. Harrington, Angel M. Harrington and Dallas Hann. Brother – Fred R. (Peggy) Harrington of St. Joseph, MI and sister-in-law – Dorenda Harrington of Berrien Springs, MI. Several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles also survive.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 28 from 5 – 8 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Filbrandt officiating. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the First United Methodist Church. of South Haven.
