Overlee's Obituary
Overlee Diane Giters, 52, of Bangor, formerly of Covert, died Thursday, January 22 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
She was born January 10, 1957 in Mayville, Mississippi to Willie and Beatrice (Belin) Stuwart. She worked as a home health care provider and enjoyed helping elderly people. Overlee loved fishing with her friend Ann and enjoyed watching movies.
She is preceded in death by her father – Willie Stuwart.
He was survived by her children – Lamar Langston of Albion, Michigan, Oscar Grays and Arsiniol Gray both of Marquette, Michigan, Ann Gordon of Detroit, Michigan and Jourale Langston of South Haven, Michigan. 6 grandchildren. Her mother – Beatrice Stuwart of Mississippi. Her siblings – Lauri (Duane) Ward of Holland, Michigan, Bertha Belind and Otis Belind both of Bangor, Michigan, Champ Belind, Lizzie Long, Carolyn Long, and Betty Long all of Chicago, Illinois.
Wake will be Friday, January 30 from 11 – 12 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin Friday at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
