Joanne's Obituary
Joanne Edwards, 65, of South Haven, died on Friday, December 5, 2008 at home. She was born on January 28, 1943 to Vester and Margaret (Carney) Bridwell. Joanne married Roger Edwards on March 23, 1962 in Benton Harbor. Joanne worked for Everett Piano Company and Hart and Cooley in Holland. She love to crochet and enjoyed bowling. Joanne also loved to be at the Lake Michigan beach. She also enjoyed snowmobiling and bird watching. Most of all she loved spending time with her grand children.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother – John Bridwell and her sisters - Linda Miller, June Howard and Sharon Bridwell.
Joanne is survived by her husband – Roger Edwards, one son – Jeff Edwards and one daughter Karin (Tim) Woodall of South Haven, Michigan. Two grandchildren – Timothy and Jason Woodall and two great-grandchildren – Connor and Aiden Woodall. One sister – Beverly (Ray) Weber of Mesa, Arizona. One nephew and two nieces also survive.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 9, from 4:00 – 5:30 pm with funeral starting 5:30 with the Rev. Father Robert Flickinger officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Kindly share your thoughts and memories on the family’s online guest book at www.FilbrandtFFH.com.
