Bruce Allen's Obituary
Bruce Allen Woody, 45, of Covert died Sunday, October 5 in Hartford.
He was born April 4, 1963 in South Haven, Michigan to Oscar and Dorothy (Singer) Woody. Bruce graduated from Bangor High School. He worked as a molder for Bangor Plastics. Bruce enjoyed pencil drawing for the past 22 years. Bruce also enjoyed fishing and loved his cars.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by his brother – Curtis Singer.
He is survived by his 2 daughters – LaQuita Woody of Covert, Michigan and Janay Smith of Kalamazoo, Michigan. 1 son – Bruce Woody Jr. of Covert, Michigan. 2 brothers – Oscar (Zodia) Woody Jr. of Covert, Michigan and Joseph Singer of Holland, Michigan. 2 sisters – Christine Woody Glasper of Covert, Michigan, and Bernice Cherry of Holland, Michigan. Special aunt – Tina Hale and special fiend – Jim Bernard of Bangor, Michigan. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Wake will be Friday, October 10 from 12 – 1 at the Gospel Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin Friday at 1:00 P.M. at the church with Pastor Henry Allen officiating.
