Theodore "Ted"'s Obituary
Theodore Lowell Inman, 98, of South Haven died Saturday, October 4 at Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.
He was born September 6, 1910 in Rockford, Michigan to S. Wallace and Myrtie (Lowell) Inman. Ted married Edna Cline on February 28, 1930 in Muskegon, Michigan. Ted was the owner of Inman Jewelry, and worked at Alfings Jewelry and Vincent J. Jewelry all in South Haven. Ted was also a founding member of Bethel Baptist Church in South Haven. Most recently Ted was a greeter at Wal-Mart retiring in 2006 after 10 years of service.
He is preceded in death along with his parents by one son – Ted R. Inman, and two brothers – Roy M. Inman, and Wallace W. Inman.
He is survived by his wife – Edna Inman of South Haven, Michigan; one son – Jerry (Shelly) Inman, South Haven, Michigan; four grandchildren – Diana, David, Stacia and David; 10 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 7 from 6:30-7:30 at the Filbrandt family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 8 at 11:00 A.M. at the Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Dale Byers officiating. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in South Haven, Michigan.
