Clara Maxine's Obituary
C. Maxine Perry, 83, of South Haven died Tuesday, August 12 at home.
She was born February 23, 1925 in Centralia, Illinois to James Otis and Bertha Ethel (Garren) Owens. Maxine married Elmer Gulley, after his death she married Robert Perry on October 4, 1975. She worked for the South Haven Rubber Company for 25 years. Maxine was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husbands – Elmer Gulley who died in 1971 and Robert Perry in 2005. Her daughter – Candy Gross and son – Jimmie Owens and step-son – Earl Gulley.
She is survived by her Step-daughter – Verna Gulley Anthony. Granddaughters – Connie (Ken) Bulliss of South Haven, Michigan, Jodie (John) Yieder of Bangor. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.
Visitation will be from 10 - 12 on Friday, August 15 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin Friday at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Scott Hollebrands officiating. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery.
