Bertha's Obituary
Bertha Evelyn Dings, 80, of Geneva Township passed away peacefully Friday, June 27 at Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.
She was born November 25, 1927 in South Haven, Michigan to Daisy (Losee) and Frank Empson. She married Paul J. Dings on July 13, 1946 in Covert, Michigan. She is a Covert High School graduate. Bertha was a collector of Royal Daulton China.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – Paul J. Dings who died in 2002.
She is survived by one son- Jerry (Lori) Dings of Pullman, Michigan. Two daughters- Paula (Vern) Vochaska of South Haven, Michigan and Linda Wilcox of Phoenix, Arizona. Two grandchildren- Stacey ( Steve Fellinger) Wilcox and Alan (Erin Ramsey) Vochaska. One sister – Arvada Vanderbuegh of Covert, Michigan also survives.
Visitation will be Monday, June 30, from 6 - 8 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 1 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Jeffrey Dick officiating. Burial will take place at Monk Cemetery in Geneva Township.Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
