Vivian's Obituary
Vivian Butler, 72, of Grand Junction died Tuesday, June 24 at Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.
She was born March 6, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois to Spencer and Pauline (Taylor) Williams. Vivian married Troy Butler Sr. She worked as a bookkeeper for the 7th District Court in Paw Paw, Michigan retiring in 1989.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband – Troy M. Butler Sr. of Grand Junction, Michigan. Children – Troy M. (Roberta) Butler Jr. of South Haven, Michigan, Debra C. (Terry) Lumpkin of Jackson, Mississippi, Karen Richardson of Chicago, Illinois, Michael Nexus of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Troy S. (Mary) Butler of Decatur, Alabama, and Cleveland (Jessica) Butler of Kalamazoo, Michigan. 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren also survive.
Wake will be Saturday, June 28 from 2:30 – 3:30 at the Emmanuel Community Church. Funeral services will begin at 3:30 P.M. at the Church. Burial will take place at Covert Cemetery. Kindly share your thoughts and memories on the family’s online guest book at www.FilbrandtFFH.com.
