Luella's Obituary
Luella Cooper, 88, of Jonesboro, Georgia, formerly of Covert, Michigan, died Sunday, May 10 at Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, Georgia.
She was born February 16, 1920 in Wiona, Mississippi to John and Josie (Williams) Scott. Luella married John Cooper in Chicago, Illinois.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband – John Cooper who died in 1984. One daughter – Lena Mae Robinson. One sister – Alma Scott and Four brothers – Ezal Scott and Johnny, Cedel and Emanuel Lewis.
She is survived by 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Three sisters – Lenora Lensey of Detroit, Michigan, Juanita Scott and Daisy Payton Both of Chicago, Illinois. A host of nieces and nephews also survive.
Wake will be Saturday, May 17 from 11 – 12 at the Gospel Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Covert. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday at the church with Rev.
