Robbie's Obituary
Robbie Allen, 48, of South Haven died Thursday, April 17 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
She was born January 25, 1960 in South Haven, Michigan to Edward and Marie (Oldham) Allen Sr. Robbie graduated from South haven High School in 1978 where she was on the tennis team, played the trombone in the band and sang in the choir. Robbie then graduated from Albion College in 1982. Robbie did volunteer work in the Kalamazoo area. Robbie was a member of Emmanuel Community Church of South Haven.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by two brothers – Edward Allen Jr. and Don Allen and two sisters – Joan Strong and June Vaughn.
She is survived by one brother – Melvin (Clifford) Allen in Chicago, Illinois. Two sisters - Barbara (David) Chambers of Phoenix, Arizona and Doreen (Jessie) West of Benton Harbor, Michigan.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 25 at 1:00 P.M. at the Emmanuel Community Church with Pastor Duryea Gibson officiating. Wake will be from 12 – 1 prior to the service.
